Who runs the Club?

We are a non for profit club run by qualified coaches and volunteers, with the aim of getting all abilities and family members to participate and enjoy paddlesport.

How do I join the Club?

We offer a number of different membership packages, all details are on the Membership page of our website.

Where is the lake sessions?

How do I arrange a taster session?

Please visit our tasters page here, stating you are interested and we will offer available dates. All participants MUST register prior to any kayaking activity taking place, the form contains medical conditions and emergency contact details.

Are you licensed and insured?

The Club runs as a Paddle UK official Community Amateur Sports Club and is covered by Public, Product, Professional and Officers liability Insurance.

What equipment do I need for the lake?

We provide a variety of kayaks, Canadian boats, standup paddle boards, buoyancy aids, spray decks and paddles. If you have a wetsuit and old cagoule they would be ideal, or bring along swimwear, old shoes, t-shirts and a old raincoat if you have one and don't forget your towel. Please bring along a hot drink to warm up at the end of the evening.

How much are lake sessions?

Lake usage is free as the price is included within the membership fee.

When are your lake sessions?

The first session for 2025 will be Thursday 1st May and run through until 11th September. We meet at 6.30pm and run for a two hour session. We will be conducting taster sessions, please contact us for further details.

How do we book lake and pool sessions?

All members will be added to our booking system, Spond. Where all club lake and pool sessions will require members to register their intent on attending.

Where is the pool session?

Pool sessions are currently being held at K2 Leisure Centre, Crawley. Each one hour session costs £12 per paddler.

Are kayaks provided at the pool sessions?

We supply a number of different size kayaks aimed at all size and age of paddler. Kayaks and paddles are provided as part of the session fee.

What should I wear in the pool sessions?

All paddlers are required to wear swimming trunks or a full swim suit. We don't allow bikini's and all paddlers are required to wear a T-shirt.
